An author visit is a great way to connect students with an author and the process behind self-publishing. With my experience as an author, artist, and entrepreneur, I am able to inspire, educate, and entertain a wide range of future writers and artists. I offer both in-person and virtual visits at private and public schools, daycares, scouts, churches, libraries, or other events!
What I Offer

1-2 Hour Visit
45-120 Minutes
This could be 2 assembles with different grade levels, reading one of my books, and discussing what a self-published author is. I will teach students about the process of writing, editing, storyboarding, illustrations, printing, and marketing, and singing an interactive song. Questions & Answer time. *Paid Visit
Half Day Visit
This could be 2-3 assemblies of different grade levels, or visiting multiple classrooms reading one of my books, and discussing what a self-published author is. I will teach students about the process of writing, editing, storyboarding, illustrations, printing, and marketing, and singing an interactive song. Questions & Answer time. *Paid Visit
Full Day Visit
A 45-minute presentation per grade level reading one of my books, discussing what a self-published author is. I will teach students about the process of writing, editing, storyboarding, illustrations, printing, and marketing, and singing an interactive song. Questions & Answer time. Bonus: Lunch with students or staff. *Paid Visit

If you’d like to receive a set of books for your classroom share my information with another teacher or school about my author visit. If they book a visit for their school, you will receive a set of 4 autographed books for your classroom or library!

My Experience
I have been a self-published author for over 7 years, an entrepreneur for 35 years, taught continuing education at the high school level, and know how to engage with students. By reading my books to your students I hope to motivate them to never give up, and always follow their dreams.
Book Values
My books focus on Kindness, Compassion, Acceptance, STEAM, Social, Emotional, and Auditory Learning, with some humor mixed in to keep things fun and engaging.
My Supplies
I have illustrations, storyboards, and notebooks of my books that I received directly from my illustrators to bring and show the students.
Entertaining
My program is interactive and entertaining, with an interactive song. I will tailor my presentation to specific grade- levels and will accommodate your school and schedules.
Presentation
My visit can include a PowerPoint presentation where I will discuss my background, my author’s journey, the lessons my books teach, and how I have become a published author.
Discounts
While the books retail at a higher cost, every book sold at a school visit is only $16-$17 for a hardcover copy and $10 for a paperback copy (some paperback titles are limited).
Bonus!
I can bring worksheets, art projects for teachers, and/or bookmarks for students. I will also donate a signed copy of one of my books to your school library!
