JoAnn lives in Southern California with her husband, near her kids and grandchildren. Her first book, “I Love To Go Camping”, was published in 2016, inspired by her grandson John’s love for camping and nature. “Lulu’s New Best Friend” was written shortly after that and inspired by her granddaughter in 2018.

2022 has been a busy year for JoAnn. She has launched four new books, Award Winning Who’s New At Lou’s Zoo, Rylee The Young Rocketeer, John’s Camping Adventures series, John’s Camping Adventures at Crab Run Beach, and Lulu’s New Fur Friend. Watch for more new stories to follow in 2023, Lou’s Zoo and Winston Too, Rylee’s Rover named Randal and John’s Adventures at Yellowstone Park.

Lauren is a South African illustration artist who finds much of her inspiration from nature’s creatures, magical forests, and the imaginations of children.

There is a uniquely playful style to Lauren’s work, and she tends to use rich colors with indistinctive backgrounds for her dreamy characters, keeping her illustrations imaginative in nature.

Lauren’s whimsical watercolor illustrations are an invitation into an imaginary world in which we may explore and re-unite with our own inner child.
